Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the optic nerve, which connects your eye to your brain. It’s often linked to high pressure inside the eye. Over time, this damage can lead to vision loss or even blindness if not treated.
Why Is Glaucoma Serious?
● It usually has no symptoms early on as it affects peripheral vision.
● Most people don’t notice vision loss until it’s advanced.
● Vision loss from glaucoma is permanent.

How Is Glaucoma Treated?
There is no cure, but treatment can help stop further vision loss:

● Laser treatment if needed
